This resource, developed for Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives, aims to provide advanced tools for economic developers seeking to identify optimal locations for industrial projects within regions characterized by some of the lowest electric rates in the United States. As a pioneering initiative, PowerMap offers comprehensive locational insights through detailed service territory maps covering all 87 counties served by the Kentucky Touchstone Energy Cooperatives.

Users can input an address or utilize their mobile device’s GPS capabilities to determine if a specific site falls within one of the 16 cooperative service territories. The platform integrates more than 63,000 recent site selection data points from StateBook International, recognized as a leading resource for economic development site selectors (www.StateBook.com). This data enables users to identify suitable locations based on various factors including workforce availability, skills, available sites and buildings, as well as community quality of life attributes.

PowerMap also provides access to geo-specific community narratives and regional facts, facilitating informed decision-making.
